Premier Padel Paris Major

Paris, France

The Paris Major Premier Padel is one of the most prestigious events on the professional padel circuit, bringing together the world’s best players in the iconic setting of Roland-Garros. For one week, the legendary clay-court stadium transforms into a spectacular padel arena, blending world-class sport, Parisian elegance, and an electric atmosphere both on and off the court.

The Court

Named after Philippe Chatrier, a former French tennis player and president of the French Tennis Federation, the court has been the stage for many legendary moments in tennis history since its inauguration in 1928. Built to host the Davis Cup, the stadium quickly became synonymous with the French Open, one of the four Grand Slam tournaments.

Over the years, the court has undergone several renovations, including a major upgrade in 2019, which added a retractable roof to allow for uninterrupted play regardless of the weather. This modernization, while preserving the historical significance of the venue, transformed Philippe-Chatrier into a state-of-the-art facility, blending tradition with cutting-edge technology. It remains a symbol of excellence in the world of tennis and now hosts various sporting events, including padel.
