Job Overview:

The Social Media and Community Specialist is responsible for managing the company's online presence and engagement across various social media platforms. This role involves creating, curating, and publishing content, engaging with the audience, fostering a vibrant community, and measuring the effectiveness of social media campaigns. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building online communities, have strong communication skills, and understand the dynamics of social platforms.


Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Management:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to enhance brand presence and engagement.

- Create compelling content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok and LinkedIn.

- Partner with influencers (smaller followings but high engagement) within the Padel and Travel niche to promote our services organically

- Monitor social media channels, respond to inquiries, and engage with our community effectively.


2. Community Marketing

- develop the Weebora Newsletter and direct marketing activities, providing early access to new products and offerings

- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance direct marketing strategies, creating an engaged community and improve overall brand awareness


3. Miscellaneous Tasks:

- Support the marketing team with miscellaneous tasks as needed.

- Collaborate with the content team to create targeted campaigns that resonate with our audience.


Requirements:

- Demonstrable expertise in social media management across major platforms.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Creative mindset with a passion for sport and travel, lifestyle experiences, or similar niches.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Fluent in English.

Job Overview

The Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events, including corporate meetings, conferences, trade shows, private functions, and other gatherings. The role involves managing all aspects of event logistics, working with vendors and venues, ensuring that events run smoothly, and delivering exceptional experiences for attendees. The Event Coordinator is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Responsibilities:


Event Planning & Development:

Collaborate with the Brand team to determine the event's purpose, objectives, and requirements.

Develop detailed event plans, timelines, and checklists, ensuring all logistics are accounted for.

Propose creative event concepts that align with the brand or event goals.

Prepare budgets, track expenses, and manage payments for all event-related activities.


Vendor & Venue Management:

Source and negotiate with vendors.

Secure event venues and handle all arrangements related to setup, layout, equipment, and catering needs.

Coordinate with venue staff on logistics, including seating arrangements, accessibility, safety regulations, and attendee accommodations.

Ensure contracts are reviewed and executed in a timely manner, meeting the event requirements.


Event Promotion & Registration:

Work with the marketing team to promote the event, creating promotional materials such as flyers, invitations, social media posts, and online ads.

Manage event registration processes, including RSVP lists and attendee communication.

Send reminders and event-related information to attendees, ensuring they have all necessary details prior to the event.


On-Site Event Management:

Oversee all day-of-event activities, including setup, registration, technical support, and coordination with vendors and staff.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and attendees on the event day, troubleshooting issues and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Supervise event staff or volunteers, ensuring everyone is clear on their roles and responsibilities.

Ensure events are executed within the planned schedule and budget while delivering a high-quality experience for participants.


Post-Event Evaluation & Reporting:

Collect feedback from attendees, clients, and staff to evaluate the event’s success.

Analyze the event’s performance against its goals, noting areas for improvement in future events.

Prepare post-event reports, including attendance, costs, feedback, and recommendations.

Ensure all vendors and venues are paid in full, and all post-event logistics (such as cleanup and equipment returns) are completed.


Requirements:

Proven experience in event coordination, planning, or project management.

Proven track record of organizing successful events, ranging from small meetings to large conferences.

Fluent in English.
